Cancellation Policy

We understand the pain of cancelling a trek

As travelers, we always look forward to trips, and after months of training and planning, if we have to cancel our trip, there’s no greater disappointment than that.

This is why we have a traveler-friendly cancellation policies.

In the rare event that YOU cancel a trek/trip booking, this are the policies that we follow:

Pending Payment Policy

  • The booking amount is non-refundable under any conditions.
  • Any remaining balance must be paid 2 days prior to the trip's departure.
  • Failure to pay the second instalment may result in booking cancellation and loss of advance payment.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

For Backpacking trips and Long Weekend trips & For Sahyadri treks

  • If cancelled 15+ days before the event you will get 100% monetory refund
  • Cancellation in less than 15 days before departure no refund will be given
  • If didnt appear on the departure date no refund will be given
  • Advance booking amount is non-refundable under any conditions.
No refund 15 days before NY and Christmas events.

In the rare event that WE cancel a trek/trip, this is the policy we follow:

  • We almost never cancel our trips. But in case we cancel a trip because of natural calamities (snowstorms, thunderstorms, floods, landslides, earthquakes) or unexpected political unrest, curfews, local riots, or government orders, Milewalkers will not be liable for any refund if the trip schedule from first start point has begun.
  • Incase the trip did not commence and is cancelled prior to departure due to insufficient seats or any other reason under control of mile walkers full refund will given
  • Incase of cancellations of our Sahyadri treks from our end you can opt for an event shift or get a full refund of the amount.
  • Incase of medical emergency or emergency issues same refund policy applies as above

Any extra costs incurred due to extension/change of the itinerary because of natural calamities, train/ bus delays or cancellation, road blocks, vehicle breakdown, etc. factors beyond the control of 'Mile Walkers' and its associates.
